The Effects Of Pollutants On The Worst Drinking Water

Do you know that Houston is on the list of the ten top cities with the worst drinking water? Unfortunately, let me tell yes that Houston occurs the fourth place of the ten cities with drinking water issue after Pensacola, Riverside (California), Las Vegas, Riverside County (California), and Reno. Houston is the fourth large cities of the United States. It drains many water sources such as the Trinity River, the San Jacinto Rivers and Lake Houston. These water sources provide the drinking water that we use throughout the city. The quality of this water tested by Texas found 18 chemicals that exceeded federal and state health guidelines, compared to the national average. The city water contained in total 46 diverse pollutants from different source of pollution. Pollutants found in Houston water supply are the cause of some types de diseases. Pollutants are usually related to the sources of pollution. There are many sources of pollution, such as urban, industry and, recently, wastewater treatment pollution. The urban wastewater concerns houses and commercial enterprises. This pollution is increasing because of the growth of population. The chemical products rejected include in wastewater is important source of contamination. Although used water is taken by the sewage, an important part is dragging in the streams.
